Hours: 45 hours (15 classes)
 
Course Description: 
In this course, students will utilize their understanding of previously introduced anatomy and physiology of the nervous tissue and further explore its peripheral division. Students will continue to increase their knowledge and build critical thinking and problem-solving skills by bridging theoretical fundamentals for clinical applications.
 
Job Description:
- Planning, delivery and instruction of course material
- Accessibility to students, answering questions regarding course material
 
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Health Science Degree or bachelor’s degree in another related science discipline
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience in a health science discipline
- Strong understanding of neurology, specifically the peripheral nervous system
- Local to Victoria, must be available to teach on campus
 
Assets:
- Instructional experience an asset 
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Strong organizational skills 
- MS office knowledge including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
 

Full time or part time at Barefoot Osteopathy on Broadway and Yew in Kitsilano

Full time or part time clinic hours available at Barefoot Osteopathy on Broadway and Yew in Kitsilano.  The position would cover a part time locum starting in April for a Practitioner on leave for 3-6 months but there is also clinic space available on an ongoing basis and clinic overflow.  The clinic is in a medical building but a bright comfortable space with south facing windows that open.   We use cliniko for online bookings and charting and we have a laundry service and CC machine. 

We are a small and friendly clinic with 3 osteopathic practitioners and 1 naturopath and are looking for someone who will fit in well with the current staff and patients.
